When you rent an item from us here at Mutual’s Rental Place or any other Rental store you are responsible for the item. It is similar to as if you just bought the rental item temporarily, therefore if you lose it due to theft you have to pay to replace it. If it falls out of your vehicle have to pay to replace it. If you break it you must pay to have it fixed. Normal wear and tear is expected. We expect equipment returned the way you found. When you rent items, you also assume the liability in the use and safety for yourself and people around you. If delivery and pickup are involved you are responsible for the equipment from the time the driver delivers the rental item and until the driver picks it up. Details of your responsibilities are enumerated in detailed on the back of the contract.
In regards to rental fees:Fees are based on the time you have equipment away from the store. In other words from the time you leave to time you bring it back regardless of whether you use it or not. If the equipment breaks or you can't get it started or you having a problem, call immediately (847-432-0045). Bringing it back the next day and saying it doesnt work or it rained out or I didn't use it or I forgot to bring it back, does not entitled you to a reduction of the rental fee. Any problems call the Rental Department immediately (not the ACE Hardware Store personnel).

Staged Events or some parties may be deemed as an event-fee and are subject to different pricing structure please see store for details.
